Founded in 1986, University Building Specialties is a distributor of architectural door and hardware products locally, nationwide and internationally. Our company is a supplier of hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, specialty doors, finish hardware, access control products, toilet partitions, toilet accessories and miscellaneous specialty items. Together, our employees have over 100 years of experience.

Our 20,000 sq ft facility, located in Fort Worth, Texas, includes a hollow metal shop and stock inventory. We are a UL licensed fabricator for metal frames as well as swinging wood and hollow metal doors.

University Building Specialties provides products for Division 8 & Division 10, from many leading manufacturers in the industry including Schlage, National Guard Products, Von Duprin, LCN, Steelcraft, Algoma Hardwoods, Marshfield, Bobrick, American Specialties, Global and many others.
